Membership & Fees

We have a very simple hourly membership model at OBXDIY that seems to work well for most members:

Standard Membership:

  • 4 hours per month at $65.00 for use of the large common room which includes tables and chairs
  • Targeted to our business co-op members, start-ups, and the small business community in general
  • Small businesses using the facility that charge a fee for event attendance must hold general liability insurance for their business.
  • Members may use the facility 24/7/365 for personal use when no other member events are scheduled
  • OBXDIY management will work with you to find a suitable time slot that can be variable, weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly recurring if needed.

 

Event Rentals Weekdays, Full Day Only:

  • Membership not required but existing members may take advantage of this reduced daily rate (**do the math!)
  • $75 per day
  • Arrive no earlier than 7:00am, clean up and vacate no later than 5:00pm.

Event Rentals Weekends:

  • $75 half-day, 7:00 am to noon and noon to 5:30 pm.
  • $125 full-day, arrive no earlier than 7:00 am, clean up and vacate no later than 5:30 pm.
  • $200 for both Saturday and Sunday
  • Membership not required

 

**Weekly Event Rentals:

Contact OBXDIY Management for quotes and scheduling of weekly event rentals, including daily rentals of 3 or more days in a single week, we will provide discount pricing.  Kim can be reached at 252-207-5722, Eric can be reached at 703-380-8565.

**Office Rentals:

As of 2/4/2016 we have made 3 more offices available and they will go quickly.  Standard rate is $250 a month with a 3-month minimum, we currently have 2 larger offices in the main space renting at a higher rate, one with sweeping ocean views.  Contact OBXDIY Management for availability.  Kim can be reached at 252-207-5722, Eric can be reached at 703-380-8565.
